Will Sussbauer
From a small town in the Berkshire hills, I am a writer, director, and actor now studying Creative Writing within the English Major at Yale University.
My fiction, essays, and poetry have been published in magazines like The Yale Herald, The Yale Daily News Magazine, The New Journal, Caesura Journal, and Spires Magazine. I am currently working on my first full-length manuscript, a short story cycle about small town Western Massachusetts.
At Yale, I have directed two musicals, Once and Mean Girls. The latter, as the Yale Dramatic Association's Commencement Musical, was put together in less than two weeks, and became the highest-grossing musical in the Association's recent memory. Next fall, I will be directing a TDPS Senior Project production of Marsha Norman's 'night, Mother, along with other projects.
Here's another photo, just for kicks
I've been told I should have another picture. Here's one from Mean Girls, which I directed.

Reviews & Press
"When Colbert and Pohl sing, the show ... becomes something far more immediate: two people, a handful of instruments, and a fleeting connection. The production invests in the ephemerality of love, and, ironically, that message remains permanent."
"Mean Girls is practically a triumph. What this cast and crew was able to pull off in a short amount of time celebrates the commitment thespians give to their craft"
